The Aeon2 line of basses are made from Fender licensed parts assembled to my quality standards. To avoid confusion with my proprietary line, I’ve created a new line called “Aeon,” a name that evokes the timelessness of the originals created by Leo Fender.
While anyone can buy Fender-licensed parts and assemble them, mine are different. Among other things, I copper foil shield the pickup and electronics cavity, level the frets, round the fret ends, polish the frets, route truss rod access and give it a complete set-up, all while installing quality parts and electronics that you would normally have to purchase and install in addition to your bass. In the end, you end up with a bass that you'd pay hundreds of dollars to a guitar tech to do all these things (in addition to the cost of the instrument). The value is in the details. While I still do not take orders for parts basses, I will make them periodically and offer them up for sale.
